We offer both phone and face to face consultations, however<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Any patients who have a cold, cough, sore throat or a fever will be examined in our rear car park after an appointment has been made. Please call us when you arrive so we can triage.\u00a0 DO NOT ENTER THE SURGERY.<\/strong>\u00a0 We are keeping this safe practice in place for the protection of vulnerable patients who are in the surgery.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Please wear a face mask when attending an appointment\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you have symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, or if you think you may have COVID19 or been in contact with anyone who may have the virus,\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>PLEASE PHONE THE SURGERY FIRST. We will make an appointment for you to be seen in the surgery carpark.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that the carpark consultations are for the treatment of your cold\/cough etc or covid swabbing only. If you have other medical matters that you would like to discuss with the Dr, please call us and book and phone consultation with your Dr at another time.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are coming into the surgery please use the hand sanitizer provided.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you prefer for your own protection, you are welcome to wait in your car or outside while waiting for your appointment. Please let us know if you wish to do this at the time of making your appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n

We want our Medical Centre to be a safe place for everybody as we all play our part in trying to keep everyone safe and well. Please continue the good hygiene practices we have all learned.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We allocate 15 minutes for phone consults, just as we do for in person visits. This includes the doctor reading your records before calling you, and time at the end for writing your notes, organising investigations, prescriptions and referrals if required. Therefore phone consultations cost the same as an in person visit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you require a prescription please email your request to reception@normansroadsurgery.co.nz stating which medication you require and which pharmacy you would like it sent to. Please allow 48 hours before collecting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Patients who are enrolled under Dr Kris Yee can email Dr Yee at Kris@normansroadsurgery.co.nz for prescriptions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We know that these are stressful times\u00a0but this is the new normal that we all have to operate in. Please continue to be kind to yourselves, to each other and to our staff.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
